The Art Walk of Spetses

A cultural experience not to be missed

Set amongst the pine-covered landscape between Armata and the Old Harbour of Spetses lies a unique open-air art park dedicated to the work of the great Greek sculptorNatalia Mela. Eleven distinctive metal sculptures – bulls, goats, rams, a mermaid and an owl, blend harmoniously into the Mediterranean landscape, creating a unique dialogue between art and nature. The works were donated to the island in 1993 and today the walk is one of Spetses’ most distinctive cultural experiences, ideal for a peaceful stroll with views of the sea and the Old Harbour.
